Shared Understanding of High Quality Learning (SUHQL)

WIS is currently working on our re-accreditation with NEASC. One of the major developments for this reaccreditation that will drive our work in the coming 12 months is to review teaching and learning with the 10 ACE Learning Principles by using our SUHQL.

During our Staff Work Day on the 7th of November, we will be discussing what high-quality learning looks like. To include parents and students in this discussion, we would like to have you – students and parents – join our conversation for that part of the working day. Having the voices and ideas of students is critical in deciding what high-quality learning should look like in a time where challenges and opportunities in education and learning are changing and evolving on a daily basis.

We are looking for 8-10 students and parents to join our discussion from

7:30-9:00 on Friday, 7 November 2025

Please email Ms. Reiff (mreiff@wis.edu.na) if you are willing and able to join to add your thoughts, suggestions and your voice to this very important part of our discussion about Teaching and Learning at WIS.
