The second WIS Teacher Academy event was led by our very own Learning Enrichment teacher Tanya May Knouwds on ADD- How it presents and how to support students in the classroom.
This insightful workshop was designed for educators and parents seeking to enhance their understanding of Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) and its impact on student learning. In today’s fast-paced world, where distractions abound and educational demands are high, recognizing and supporting students with ADD is more crucial than ever.
Our next event will be on the 4th of March Unlocking reading: A Science of Reading approach to phonological awareness and phonics with an additional focus on fluency, vocabulary and comprehension.
