On Pi Day, March 14th, grade 6 students celebrated the mathematical constant Pi by researching its history and applications. Students then created their own unique projects to share what they learned.
Projects included:
Posters explaining the history of Pi
Diagrams illustrating the relationship between Pi and circles
Creative writing pieces about Pi
Mathematical equations using Pi
And more!
Students were excited to share their projects with their classmates and teachers. The projects were displayed in their Math room 45 for all to enjoy.
Pi Day is a great opportunity for students to learn about mathematics in a fun and engaging way. We are proud of our grade 6 students for their hard work and creativity!
We hope that you enjoyed learning about Pi Day in your own ways and eat some Pieeee too!
