Welcome back to another school year! We are thrilled to introduce you to the High School Student Council for this year we are ready for positive changes in the school community and environment. This school year’s newly elected Student Council Presidents are Kazuki Sadamoto and Naeem Robiati from Grade 11. Alongside them, we have Melissa and Maria from Grade 11, Shani, Carolina, Christa and Denny from Grade 10, and Jessica, Nelao, Aaron and Sarthak from Grade 10. Our efforts will be further supported by our dedicated supervisors Ms. Angelina and Ms. Catherine. We are all very passionate about what we plan to achieve this year and are eager to represent your voice. This year our main focuses are improving school facilities, enhancing student engagement, and organizing fun events.
To dive deeper into our main goals, one of the most important factors that we plan on including is the increase in student input. We want to create more opportunities for you to get involved especially through the events that we plan on hosting throughout the year. Having your ideas on the table will help us improve our events as they are mainly for your enjoyment and with your interest and ideas this can be ensured. The easiest way to contact the student council is by talking to them directly. Furthermore, we will in the near future establish a Student Council Instagram account to provide all of your insight on what we are working on.
We are also working on incorporating your feedback and input through a feedback box. This box will be located in the library and we strongly encourage the use of it. You can share your thoughts, suggestions, and concerns, for us to see. Whether it is to present us with a new idea for an event, a suggestion for improvement, or just something for us to consider, this box is for all those things.
Furthermore, the student council aims to enhance our efforts by fostering greater collaboration with other schools, showcasing our school community to a broader audience. Additionally, we plan to improve our sports facilities and upgrade our equipment to better support our athletes due to an overwhelming amount of feedback on this aspect of our school.
Ultimately, our mission is to improve the school and make the events as fun as possible, but in order for this to happen we need your input. We encourage you to share your ideas and feedback so we can work together to make our vision a reality and ensure that every event is enjoyable and impactful for everyone involved. Let’s make it a great year!!
