WIS Basketball Youth Games 2024

The WIS basketball team had several players who participated in the Youth Games, representing the Khomas region and competing against the 13 other regions in Namibia. Various sports codes were featured at this event. Special selectors were responsible for choosing the national U16 team that will compete in the Region 5 games, representing Namibia against other southern African countries.

We, the WIS basketball coaches, are pleased to announce that two of our players, Priye Hakweenda and Ondeya Neri, have been selected for the national team. We congratulate them on this achievement and wish them the best of luck in the upcoming games.
