Did you know that just by drinking out of a plastic bottle you can help children learn to read and write?
Hi, my name is Tomas Andresen Serra, I am in Grade 7 and I am responsible for the Bottle Caps Project. When you are done drinking out of a plastic bottle, what do you do next, you throw it away, right?
Instead of throwing the whole bottle away, you should keep the bottle cap and give it to me. I need this because I write one letter of the alphabet on top of each cap. This means that I need 26 bottle caps to make an alphabet, but I don’t have enough. Once I have enough alphabet sets (I need about 5 - 7), I go to a school and give the alphabet sets to the kids. Then we play and learn together.
Thank you!
There is one bottle where you can put the bottle caps at the entry of Ms. Ruth’s class, and the second bottle will be placed at the tuck shop.
Thank you for helping me make a difference in the world!
