Reflection on the week
Dear WIS Community,
It has been another energizing week in the Primary School!
Our third coffee morning about upcoming field trips wrapped up successfully, and it's been wonderful seeing so many parents attending these. Special thanks to Ms Stephanie, whose expertise in outdoor education is proving invaluable as she coordinates these adventures for our students and of course to all the teachers who will be accompanying!
This week also marked an exciting new chapter for our school community with the launch of the Olweus Bullying Prevention Program. This research-backed program has shown remarkable success in schools worldwide, creating more positive and supportive learning environments. Our staff started their first training session.
Ms Susan and Ms Bianca launched the Olweus programme with students during grade assemblies this morning through creative role-playing activities, helping students explore important ideas about kindness and friendship. Students engaged in these meaningful discussions with great insight.
Walking around our beautiful campus this week, joy has been evident everywhere – please enjoy this snapshot!
