Graduates venturing into the future

Dare to dream - if you keep working on it, it might just happen!

In the coming months, our students in Grade 12 are embarking on their journey to put in place their plans for “life after WIS”. The process of planning for their futures is an extensive and highly time-consuming one. There is much to be considered from finances to entry requirements, to location and leaving home. All these factors are critical to be well thought through and discussed within the family and also in the circle of peers and with the school - teachers, the guidance counsellor and possible alumni and connections who can advise on the plans the student has.

Our students at WIS apply to and enter tertiary institutions all around the world. Currently the most preferred location for applications is the Netherlands with the US, Canada and UK also quite popular. A number of our graduates apply to South Africa and also to Australia.

Our Class of 2023 was accepted at the following universities:

  • UAE - Middlesex University Dubai: Electronic Engineering - Electronic and Electrical engineering

  • Belgium - KU Leuven: Biochemical engineering - Chemical engineering

  • Canada - University of New Brunswick (UNB): Bachelor of Kinesiology - Medical Sciences
