Tuition Fee Payment Schedule for 2026-2027

Payment Procedures
Tuition and other fees are stated in Namibian Dollars. The following information generally pertains to tuition, enrollment fees, and capital fees. Together, these costs are referred to as “annual fees” herein.

 

Please see section D regarding additional costs.


A Tuition and Fees
A1. One time payment in full by the first day of the school year. This option allows for a single invoice of the annual fees required for the school year.


A2. In three installments

40% received by the school by 1st August
30% received by the school by 1st November

30% received by the school by 1st February

A3. Monthly installments
The monthly option allows for monthly payments spread over nine months. Payment is made in advance of each month. Payments, for students who start the first day of school, are due as follows:

 

1. Before the first day of the school year            20% of annual fee received by the school
2. By 1st September                                                10% of annual fee received by the school
3. By 1st October                                                     10% of annual fee received by the school
4. By 1st November                                                 10% of annual fee received by the school
5. By 1st December                                                 10% of annual fee received by the school
6. By 1st January                                                      10% of annual fee received by the school
7. By 1st February                                                    10% of annual fee received by the school
8. By 1st March                                                         10% of annual fee received by the school
9. By 1st April                                                            10% of annual fee received by the school


No fees are due in May, June, or July for students enrolled from the first day of the school year.

 

B Late Enrolment
Students who enroll during the course of the year are charged tuition fees according to the schedule below. Payment is made in advance of each month. The school does not prorate school monthly fees unless by the Educational Director’s discretion. Invoices will be according to the selected payment procedure. Late enrolment is subject to a 10% late tuition fee + the following amounts by month of enrolment.

C Early withdrawal
As an international school, we recognize that families may need to withdraw from the school during the academic school year.
1. Thirty days of advanced notice is required. If there is no advanced notice given then the next month’s invoice will be charged. For students whose annual fee has been paid in full or in three installments, please contact the Finance Office to receive the early withdrawal refund schedule.
2. There is no refund for new student enrolment fees, EAL enrolment fees, or annual capital fees.
3. The school will provide a leaving certificate upon receipt of all outstanding amounts.


D Notes for Payment
1. Details of payment methods, including bank details, are included on each invoice.
2. It is the responsibility of parents to provide the school proof of payment by email to yvisser@wis.edu.na within 24 hours of bank transfer.
3. Ordinarily, all fees are paid in Namibian Dollars. Please contact the Finance Office if you require the option of paying in USD or Euros.
4. It is the parents’ or guardians’ responsibility to ensure that fees are received by the published deadlines, even if school fees are paid by a third party.
5. If a Trust is paying school fees, a commitment must be made in writing to pay the fees
directly from the Trust.

6. IB MYP eAssessment at the end of Grade 10 and IBDP exam fees at the end of Grade 12 are not included in school fees and are the responsibility of the person or organization responsible for paying school fees.
7. While the school does not require students to purchase uniforms, WIS-labeled clothing items are highly encouraged and available for purchase. These costs are not included in school fees and are optional expenses.
8. Any other invoice issued by the school such as school trips, lost books, activity fees, individualised education plan learning support costs, etc. are the responsibility of the person or organization responsible for paying school fees.
9. All applicants to the school will be charged an N$1000 non-refundable entrance assessment fee which is not included in the school fees. Payment must be made before the assessment takes place.
10. Fees are subject to annual increases as determined by the Board of Directors.


E Notes on late payments
1. Interest at 10% per annum will be charged to all fees that are 30 days or more overdue.
2. Except in exceptional cases at the discretion of the Educational Director, students whose
fees are 60 days or more in arrears will be automatically suspended with immediate effect.
3. Fees that are over 90 days in arrears will be referred to the school lawyer for collection.
4. If any fees remain outstanding from a given school year, the student may not enroll for the new year until late fees are settled in full.
5. Transcripts and academic records will not be released until the full amount is settled.
