Four IB schools from around the globe have come together to offer students in Grades 9 and 10 the chance to travel far beyond the confines of their current school and experience students, schools, communities, and IB programs across the world.
The schools are the International School of Paris, International School of Western Australia (Perth), Annie Wright Schools, Tacoma, USA, and Windhoek International School.
The Global Alliance allows students to enrich their own educational experience through exploration, open-mindedness, and a celebration of culture. Students who participate should be prepared to explore global issues and build community both within their host school and with other ambassadors.
Our first batch of students for the programme was selected this week. Roelf Steytlar and Darius Swart will be going to Tacoma, Amanda Fernandez Ruiz and Ben Cohen will be going to Perth and Carolina Berna and Nicholis Swart will be going to Paris. They are all from grade 9. They will be traveling in March 2024 and hosting the exchange students in April 2024.
