Welcome to WIS! What would you like us to know about you?
I was born Namibian. My religious views are Christian. I am married and a mother of two boys.
Could you tell us a little about your philosophy of education?
Children are naturally curious about the world around them. They love to explore and engage with their environment and learn from what is modelled to them. I am inspired by Montessori methods, especially in the younger age group and use play and concrete methods of instruction.
People often like to know their teacher’s academic background and professional experiences. What and where have you studied? Where have you worked?
I studied at the University of Cape Town. I graduated with a Bachelor of Social Sciences (in Environmental and Geographical Sciences and Psychology). I went on to complete a Postgraduate Certificate of Education. I taught at the Holy Cross Convent School in Windhoek and I have been teaching for 11 years.
What do you do when you aren't teaching?
I prefer quiet spaces and prefer to relax by reading a book and having a strong cup of tea. I enjoy gardening and being outdoors. I enjoy crocheting and doing arts and crafts with my boys.
Why did you choose WIS?
WIS offers wonderful opportunities for professional development and growth as a Teacher. I chose WIS to expand my knowledge and teaching practices.

This is such a lovely update. It’s easy to forget how much pressure students are under behind the scenes. I remember a time when my own course load felt so heavy that I searched for an online exam help service just to get through the night. Having a supportive environment and the right mentors makes those high-pressure moments so much easier to handle.
I read the post about meeting Desiree Husselmann and it made me smile because it showed how excited everyone was to welcome a new teacher and start fresh learning together. When I was juggling classes once I used engineering Assignment Writer help while I tried to balance study with fun activities, and that mix helped me stay calm and focused. It reminded me that good support and a fresh start can really make tough work feel easier.
This was an informative and thoughtful read that highlights the importance of clarity and preparation in education journeys. 📘
It made me reflect on how medical aspirants exploring overseas options often need guidance that goes beyond just admissions. MBBS Abroad Consultants in Pune are increasingly viewed as support systems that help students understand eligibility, documentation, and the realities of studying medicine abroad. When the focus stays on informed choices and long-term readiness, it creates a healthier learning experience and strong education vibes overall.

It made me reflect on how important guidance is in every educational journey. For students in India, especially in cities like Mumbai, Study Abroad Consultants in Mumbai can play a similar role by offering personalized support and clarity when navigating the complex process of studying overseas. From choosing the right universities and understanding eligibility to handling applications and visas, these consultants help turn big aspirations into achievable academic paths.
Having expert support not only reduces stress but also helps students focus on what matters most — learning and growing. That kind of meaningful guidance definitely brings the right…
