Margarete Reiff is the secondary principal at WIS. She has been at WIS for 22 years and is proud to have been a teacher, mother as well as part of the leadership team for the past 22 years. Maggie studied at the University of Pretoria and has a degree in Afrikaans, German, and Psychology as majors as well as a Higher Education Diploma. Maggie enjoys traveling as well as working with young people, especially following their journeys once they leave WIS. It is amazing to see where our WIS graduates are in the world and how they make us proud. Maggie is a proud mother of a 23-year-old daughter who has just completed her studies in Hospitality and Design at SHMS in Switzerland. Alicia has just started her working career in Switzerland.
It's always inspiring to read about educators who dedicate so many years to one school community. Maggie's passion for supporting students beyond graduation and celebrating their achievements shows how lasting the impact of a great principal can be. After reading stories about education and leadership, I sometimes unwind with Crossy Road, a casual arcade game where guiding a character across roads, rivers, and train tracks provides a quick, relaxing break before getting back to work.
