WIS Outdoor Education - Semester 2, 2026
The Outdoor Education Program continues second semester with our elective trips, Global Alliance, and grades 10 and 11 traveling to the Waterberg for post-exam partying (under teacher supervision of course) and service learning respectively (a nice contrast). Selected students have already begun their Global Alliance exchange programs this semester. Living the Learner Profile: Caring at WIS
This month at Windhoek International School, we are shining a spotlight on one of the most important IB Learner Profile attributes: Caring. In the PYP, being caring is more than a word we display on classroom walls, it is something we live, practise, and model every day. Caring learners show empathy, compassion, and respect. They act to make a positive difference in the lives of others and in the world around them. Across our classrooms, we see caring in action in many ways.

The start of a new year, a new semester and exams for our Grade 10s and 12s
As we start this new semester, we want to recognize what a new beginning can mean for us. Starting a new year always gives us new beginnings and new hope, as well as challenges that we face and want to become comfortable with.
