This month at Windhoek International School, we are shining a spotlight on one of the most important IB Learner Profile attributes: Caring. In the PYP, being caring is more than a word we display on classroom walls, it is something we live, practise, and model every day. Caring learners show empathy, compassion, and respect. They act to make a positive difference in the lives of others and in the world around them. Across our classrooms, we see caring in action in many ways.

As we start this new semester, we want to recognize what a new beginning can mean for us. Starting a new year always gives us new beginnings and new hope, as well as challenges that we face and want to become comfortable with.  Our Grade 10 and 12 classes are starting a new challenge with the mock exams that they have already started (Grade 12) and will be starting soon (Grade 10). We want to wish the entire WIS community a Happy New Year and a warm welcome back to campus.
