Keana Carreira graduated from WIS with the IB Diploma in 2012 - 10 years ago. She shares with us her story since:
“I currently live in Lisbon, Portugal where I work (online) as a content editor for a digital marketing agency that was recently launched. Alongside this, I co-host a podcast called ‘Don't Touch My Music’ about the music industry - we launched on March 7th so we're only just getting started, but we're having a lot of fun so far. That's it in terms of what I've got going on at the moment.
After graduating from WIS, I moved to Cape Town, South Africa, to attend the Ruth Prowse School of Art where I got my certification for graphic design. From there I moved to Haarlem, Netherlands where I attended a specialised university - the InHolland University of Applied Sciences and I got my BA in International Music Management.
While in the Netherlands I did volunteer work, internships and part-time work in different sectors of the music industry over there. I worked for some music festivals, worked for a music licensing company, etc.
Once I graduated, I moved to Lisbon, Portugal and took a year off before jumping back into action and working for a digital marketing agency as well as co-hosting my very own music podcast!”
