WIS Interact Club: Full Swing & Future Ready!

The Interact Club at WIS is now in full swing, having attended the annual Rotary Interact Symposium organized by the Rotary Club Windhoek (RCW). This allowed our club to develop a better understanding of what a successful event looks like while also providing us with ideas on projects we can run in the future and the steps that come with them.

During the Symposium, our school was well represented. The Board of Directors presented a brief slideshow on what we have accomplished so far, and what we hope to do in the future. 

Additionally, this valuable experience allowed students in our club to take away more learning expertise, having the opportunity to listen to multiple speakers on various topics, such as Heinrich Stasiuk, an entrepreneur who spoke about the values of community service, and Benjamin Monroe, who opened our eyes to what the Rotary clubs globally themselves have accomplished, and his own proficiency regarding community service/charity work. 

During this outing, our club also got to listen to what other Rotaract Clubs have accomplished, giving us inspiration for future acts of service.
