Urte Dorgeloh joined Windhoek International School (WIS) in 2015 as a Science and Mathematics teacher. She serves on the Board of Directors as the Staff Association (WISSA) representative. Before her time at WIS, Urte co-founded a private school with colleagues, authored a cookbook, and owned Dorgeloh Chocolates, her chocolate factory. She is a proud mother of twins: her daughter works as a financial director in Windhoek and her son is an engineering manager at a mine in northern Namibia. Both have families, and Urte loves spending time with her grandchildren. In her free time, Urte enjoys reading, community service, cycling, hiking, and gardening both at home and on WIS's beautiful campus.
