Global Alliance Exchange Programme: Congratulating Our Grade 9 Ambassadors!

We are thrilled to celebrate six of our Grade 9 students who have been selected to participate in the prestigious Global Alliance Exchange Programme!
This incredible initiative gives our students the opportunity to step out of their comfort zones, experience new cultures, and represent our school community on an international stage.
Where They’re Headed:
Angela Rooney and Inês Ferreira will be traveling to the International School of Western Australia in Perth, Australia.
Suraya Ashikoto and Amanda Deselaers will be heading to NIST International School in Bangkok, Thailand.
Scarlett McNamara and Esmeralda Joubert will be traveling to Annie Wright School in Tacoma, USA
At WIS, education extends far beyond the classroom walls. Participating in the Global Alliance Exchange Programme is about more than just travel—it is a vital step toward becoming active, empathetic global citizens.
Through this program, Angela, Inês, Suraya, Amanda, Scarlett, and Esmeralda will:
Embrace Cultural Diversity: Immerse themselves in local traditions, learning styles, and daily life across three different continents.
Develop Leadership & Independence: Build lifelong confidence, adaptability, and cross-cultural communication skills.
Build Global Connections: Establish meaningful friendships and networks that bridge communities and borders.
Please join us in wishing all six students a safe, inspiring, and transformative journey as they embark on this milestone adventure!
