Francis Wolf has been a parent at WIS since 2023 and joined the Board in 2024. He was able to move to Namibia when his wife Snigdha was offered a posting with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) working on HIV care and treatment in Namibia. Before moving to Namibia, Francis and his family lived in Atlanta, Georgia (USA), where he worked as an anesthesiologist at Emory University Hospital. In addition to being a full-time dad for their three children, Francis is also a part-time teacher at UNAM, where he is an honorary visiting professor in anesthesiology. Francis enjoys the great outdoors, singing, and learning new skills.
