A message from the WIS Director

We want to wish the entire WIS community a Happy New Year and a warm welcome back to campus.

I want to personally wish you and your family a 2026 which is filled with joy, purpose, productivity, belonging, and a spirit of unity and peace.

As we look around on this first week back in January, we can see that our school is increasingly living out our mission, vision, principles. At WIS this school year, we have been listening to students and collaborating as parents and staff to develop a shared understanding of high quality learning:

“We know that high quality learning happens at WIS through ongoing dialogue and actionable feedback:

  • when we work together and independently in a safe, caring environment,

  • when we recognise each person’s place in the story of our shared planet,  and

  • when we develop the knowledge and skills needed to create a better future.”

Our mission since 1990 has remained crystal clear: to develop the full potential of each student in a stimulating environment of academic excellence, cultural diversity and active social responsibility to become internationally-minded independent thinkers.

We are proud of what we have here at WIS, and we couldn’t do it without you. So here is my advice for 2026: WIS Fish Eagles, just be yourself. Be your best self. May you spread your wings this year. Your horizons are in every direction.

For my e-commerce ads, using ai video to video technology to swap backgrounds has been a total game changer. I can take a simple product shot filmed in my living room and make it look like a high-end studio commercial. It’s incredibly efficient for testing different vibes without the hassle of a location shoot.

an srd status check gives you clarity on document requirements. it will outline what’s needed for your application, making it easier to stay organized and ensuring that you submit everything required for approval.

beads out walkthrough offers a unique twist on the logic genre that I haven't seen in a while. The mechanics are intuitive, but the level design is incredibly unforgiving—in a good way! I’ve been looking for something with this specific "high-stakes" vibe. Has anyone managed to find the optimal strategy for the later stages yet? Let’s swap notes!

If you want to create a low quality image without losing the original dimensions, this local processing toolkit is insane. It gives you complete control over the degradation slider to get those sweet retro artifacts. Totally a hidden gem for webmasters.

A game has me when I start blaming myself instead of blaming the game. That happened fast with Pixel Flow. Every level is this small layered board where matching pigs clear matching cubes, and because the waiting slots are so limited, every early greedy move shows up later as a problem you created yourself. I like that. It feels fair without feeling soft.
